Two of my nieces are students of University of Melbourne And University of Canberra (In Singapore?). My classmates also studied at the University of New South Wales.
On Hindsight (Some have Foresight but most only have "Backsides")...
IN Singapore, we booked a Toyota Presida from Alvis Rental and when in Australia, we just collect the keys and drove off from the airport. How convenient ...
We went to Bentley & considered a cluster of bungalows costing about A $108 k but was not wise enough 2 seriously consider them. Nevertheless it was a very enlighthening visit to Perth where we experienced the Great Aussie Wildlife, the ever popular buggies, er ... I mean budgies, lovebirds. I once commented that there must b a God, because those birdies seem superbly 'crafted' ie "created'. Human drawings of these budgies would have paled in comparison.
Stayed at Joondalup Country Club (Under Singapore's Labour Org National Trade Union Congress) which was a very memorable experience. Went to the "flea market" at Subiaco. Visits were made to a strawberry farm (I remember my delightful toddler niece "Cherie" taking a great liking to these "berries" when she could have been more inclined to like "cherries")
